Workshop Details

Title: The future of access to veterinary care is now: In-home medical care through field services

Description:

Hear how Humane Rescue Alliance started a Field Veterinary Program to deliver medical care with house calls. This session will discuss how the team partners with animal control and humane law enforcement officers to offer resources that prevent surrenders and keeps people and pets together. Information will be shared on program set-up and best practices, cost comparisons between support services and intake, how to build trust by leading with empathy, and other lessons learned so you can develop your own community veterinary care program.
