Workshop Details

Title: Rescuing responsibly in times of disaster and crisis

Description:

Whenever disaster or crisis strikes around the globe well intentioned individuals and groups want to help. Oftentimes without any real plan in mind groups or individuals show up to the site of the event and begin operations. Depending on where the event occurs there may be more or less organization around the response. See how can you as an individual or group who responds ensure you do so in a responsible manner and if you are the agency in charge how can you address these unofficial responders and direct their energies into the coordinated effort.
