Title: Big solutions for dogs with big feelings

Description:

Jumping on people, barking, destroying things, and even biting might mean that our dog has really big feelings. People tend to not like the behavior that results from those feelings. For years we have tried to convince dogs not to feel excited when they meet people, to not be frustrated that they're bored, or not to feel scared when the delivery person comes to the door. In this session, we will dive into some specific solutions for helping dogs cope with big feelings without suppressing or punishing them. This training style might just change the way you think about our dogs' experiences in our homes and especially in our shelters.
